How to Play Machine Party With Friends

Machine Party supports 2–4 players online or locally. Use a room code for remote friends, or choose Local for a same-screen session.

Host a private lobby, copy the 18-digit room code and send it to your friends. Everyone must be on a compatible current game build.

Before you start

1. Choose online or local. Use online if friends are on separate PCs; use Local when everyone is on the same system.
2. Check inputs. Connect controllers before entering Local, then test that each player can join.
3. Confirm the game version. A current Steam build avoids simple lobby compatibility problems.
4. Read each round briefing. Controls and objectives can change between minigames.
